DUBAI, UAE – 11 March 2020: The Emirates Group and AirBusiness Academy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to extend Airbus’s leadership programme to UAE National employees at the Emirates Group. The MoU was signed by Amira Al Falasi, Emirates’ Vice President, HR Talent Acquisition and National Talent Development and Serge Golofier, Head of Sales & Marketing at AirBusiness Academy.
AirBusiness Academy training consultants, including senior consutant, Beatrice Monthioux, traveled west this summer to deliver APQP Champion for suppliers in the United States.
APQP Champion training was initially developed and deployed across all Airbus divisions to train APQP leaders and support APQP project teams. It has since the Spring 2019 made its “grand debut” on the international scene and into supplier sites. Our training team can deliver APQP Champion for suppliers, aligned with EN9145, in four languages including Mandarin Chinese. The seminar based on a very practical approach is rooted in hands-on exercises, the application of best practices and tools to ensure your team’s success.

The AirBusiness Academy and the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on delivering aviation education and management training programmes for students and talents in the region.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will work on areas such as faculty exchanges, joint delivery of specific training programmes, and the hosting of each other’s courses at their respective campuses. The collaboration will focus on courses in areas such as aviation strategy, finance and operations management, aircraft maintenance and engineering, innovation and leadership development. These could take the form of short professional education courses, or complete curriculum leading to a degree.

This is the fastest-growing aviation market in the world, and this partnership could allow us to jointly meet the demand for highly-qualified professionals in the aerospace industry throughout the region,” said Bruno Bousquet, Vice President, Customer Services Asia-Pacific, Airbus.

AirBusiness Academy has attended for many years running and this year, Business Development Manager, Nathan Sananès, will represent the company at this prestigious event.

Stephan and Nathan had the objective of reaching out to suppliers in order to inform, not only of our 'Be An Airbus Supplier' training but also our complete catalogue dedicated to suppliers. This portfolio includes training areas of procurement, supply chain management, regulations and quality and lean. Our new domain of "Innovation & Collaborative Work" also turned a few heads with many companies specifically interested in our Agile Innovation training.
Over the course of two days, the team introduced AirBusiness Academy to 26 companies, held B-to-B meetings with 48 company representatives from all over the world and identified a substantial number of opportunities for the future.
One of the major supplier events in Canada and North America, Aeromart will welcome over 1300 participants from 28 countries.

Focusing on Innovation, the event will welcome the main stakeholders and suppliers of the aerospace industry mainly in France but also with some European and International presence. Along with conferences animated by Innovation, Research and Development experts of the larger groups, technological workshops such as smart manufacturing or 3D printing will also be offered to participants looking to keep abreast of the latest developments, future needs and potential strategies.
