Background

Romain joined AirBusiness Academy to lead the Operational Management team and a network of external consultants that cover procurement, supply chain, project management, risk management and quality management.

He started his career in 1991, extensively developing his skills in supply chain and logistics while working for several companies such as Tie Rack in London, Gilette and McAfee in Paris, United Biscuits (BN, Delacre, Verkade) in Nantes.

In 2005, Romain joined Airbus as Head of Ordering for Standard Parts where he held an active and recognised role within the Airbus Supply Chain and Logistics community, including significant achievement of stock reduction and the implementation of Airbus Lead Logistic Provider Kuehne+Nagel.

He was then appointed Head of Logistic Services in 2008, in charge of opening a logistic hub for the France-West region (Nantes/Saint Nazaire) where he harmonised procedures and improved operations.

Romain recently received an Airbus Procurement award award in the category 'Supplier Development' for the training programme 'Be An Airbus Supplier'.

Qualification

Degree in Business Studies from Tours University in France.
