Background

With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Valeria brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Talent Development team.

Valeria started her professional career at Airbus Defense and Space where she held the position of System Engineer for Ariane Launcher Programmes.

Building on this enriching experience, she then moved to Safran Aircraft Engines in Paris and as Development Quality Assurance Manager, Valeria assisted in the set up of a quality culture in the Equipment Centre of Excellence. Her main mission was to negotiate quality objectives, coordinate development reviews and supplier selection process and to rate suppliers during the annual Suppliers Control Reviews. 

Moving back to Airbus in 2016, Valeria held a range of roles that forged her expertise in lean and quality topics. From Gound Systems Quality, Supply Chain & Quality to Purchasing Flight Controls and Hydraulics Manager, Valeria has endevoured to boost internal and external standards and ways of working across the group.

In her new role as Lean domain leader at AirBusiness Academy, Valeria will manage the vision and strategy for this strategic domain.

License in Biomedical Engineering academic sessions by University of Bologna : 2004 - 2007
