Background
After spending many years working as a recurring course designer and trainer for AirBusiness Academy, Thomas is now permanently part of the faculty team as a Senior Consultant. Prior to this, he spent 11 years working for Airbus in Toulouse, starting in Commercial where he marketed the A340 as well as various freighter models, then in charge of Strategic Planning in Customer Services. Recently, Thomas led one of the Power8 projects related to airlines support: how to increase Airbus customers' proximity while capping costs and improving service. Before Airbus, he spent 7 years working for Air France in flight operations and aircraft performance, as well as in the operational management of its 747 fleet. His daily activities included optimizing aircraft cruise speed, reducing fuel uplift ("captain's drop"), getting ETOPS approval from the DGAC and checking aircraft in-flight behaviour after D-check.
